I highly recommend Johnston RV in Decatur. Mike Miller and Chad are both great. We drove 6.5 hours for our travel trailer. Mike helped us with everything over the phone and made sure our camper was exactly what we wanted before we drove there. Chad done our walk through and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He also set up our hitch and the back up camera and showed us how to operate it. Chad also went out of his way to make sure that everything was correct and operating correctly even with our truck. 10/10 Great service, good people. - Lea
Johnston RV Center in Decatur, AL has been such a great group of people to work with. From buying our first camper 2 years ago, to the service they have performed since then, they have been great! The latest example of such wonderful service just happened earlier this week. I took our camper in for a power plug recall right after a recent camping trip. On that trip, we discovered the electric side of the water heater wasn’t working. I mentioned it to the service manager and mentioned I had another appointment coming up in a few weeks to do the annual service check and was asking if they could work in a look at the heater then. He looked up the next appointment and removed it from the calendar and told me they weren’t going to make me come back for all that and did all the work, even fixing the water heater, while I waited! They did everything very quickly and got me on my way. They were all extremely friendly and I am so thankful that we chose them to buy our first camper from. We will definitely be buying our future campers from them as well and recommend them to all our friends. If you are in the north Alabama area, you can’t go wrong with Johnston! - Brian
We had a wonderful experience buying our first travel trailer for Johnston RV in Decatur. Our salesman, Newell Hooper, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and gave us a lot of good advice. When we picked up our camper the staff did an excellent job of walking us through the unit, showing us our everything worked. They also installed our new trailer hitch and showed us how to use it. I’ve nothing but good things to say about our camper buying experience with Johnston RV in Decatur. We had to travel over 2 hours to get our camper but definitely worth the drive. Dave went above and beyond to help find the perfect one for us. Mike M. was super nice and helpful. His knowledge of campers is impeccable. Brandon did an excellent job of giving us the grand tour. Tony made the financial portion flow like a breeze. I would recommend Johnston RV to anyone looking to purchase their first travel home or if you’re looking to upgrade.
